September 2026
Greetings from your Outreach Committee,
We are excited to announce our 2026 Tortillas for Teupasenti campaign!
The generosity and abundance of God inspires our hearts to be part of something bigger and do something more then we can do on our own. When our Church blesses and supports those who are poor and vulnerable we are following Jesus Christ’s example. His ministry and compassion for those in need.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Pray and open your hearts to this opportunity to contribute joyfully to the Tortillas for Teupasenti campaign.
“Children’s Rescue Mission operates feeding centers across nearby villages, serving approximately 1,500 meals weekly. Each meal comes with a message of Jesus’ love, creating a safe environment for recipients to experience both physical sustenance and spiritual growth.” For the past 23 years, we as a church, with your generous financial commitments, have been raising $12,000 annually to help ensure these meals continue.
The children depend on these meals to ease their hunger. They come to the mission for meals, education, sports and worship. Please take a moment and visit the mission’s website (www.crmission.org/programs) to see all that they do for the community.
Our response to the yearly Tortillas for Teupasenti campaign is the same as it was 23 years ago. Let’s feed these hungry children, as Jesus has asked us to do. Please pledge now and respond by September 27th so that we can assure the mission that we will continue to provide vital meals to the children. You may send your check with the pledge no or later.
Yours in the Love of Christ,
Jon Stroble, Ron Simmons, Cyndi DeLuca
